With over 30 years in the landscape industry, I brings a wealth of knowledge, craftsmanship, and dedication to the farm. My three decades of hands-on experience have shaped the growth of the industry and align with the deep-rooted reputation for quality and care the farm is known for today.

Raised and rooted in the Okanagan Valley, I have a lifelong connection to the region’s land, seasons, and community. I value hard work, sustainable practices, and fostering long-term relationships with clients and neighbours alike.

In addition to my extensive landscaping background, I’ve spearheaded partnership initiatives to expand the farm with high-quality turf, ensuring customers have access to premium products that meet the highest standards.

Beyond the farm, I am a devoted family man, sharing his life with my wife and two children. Active in the community, I’m always willing to lend a hand, support local initiatives, and help preserve the natural beauty and spirit of the valley I call home.

Having been with the Nursery since 2014, I have seen a lot of changes and growth. Just like the nursery itself my job is ever changing with the seasons, with its own set of challenges and rewards.

Having spent my entire life in the outdoors I love nature. Whether on a body of water, on top of a mountain or hiking with my trusty dog Poyo, outside is my element. Looking at trees is not new to me, but is a great asset in logistics. I enjoy the challenges and diversity of this role!

With over 40 years of experience in sales and 13 years as an owner of a successful Turf Farm in Lavington, I bring a deep understanding of the Turf industry and a strong track record of results to my new role in turf sales at Purple Springs. My approach is rooted in excellent customer service and through reliability and communication I’ve built trusted relationships in the valley.
Outside of work I enjoy time with family and friends, hiking local trails and exploring new places through travel.

Having owned and operated a successful turf farm in the Okanagan valley, as well as being in construction a land management, I am well versed in all aspects of turf operations from seeding through to harvesting, while maintaining fields and equipment. 

In my downtime I enjoy family life, skiing, camping and exploring the open road on my motorcycle. 

I’m Krista Ferguson and you will find me sharing my time each year between the 4X Ranch Cattle operation (processing); and managing the 4X Ranch Garlic operation located at the Purple Springs Nursery. I thoroughly enjoy working with such a such a great and diverse team of individuals at both operations on a regular basis. In my free time you’ll find me with my family at local beaches or ice rinks depending on the season; and enjoying hobbies such as farming, gardening, scrapbooking and loving a renovation project (or five).
